I wish you all a very good evening and thank you for being present here at the SPICE Arena to witness the 3rd consecutive Penang Anime Matsuri 2017 or PAM 2017 with the theme - Summer Wonderland.

PAM 2017 is part of the endless celebrations of Visit Penang Year 2017 - ‘Year of Festivals’ that showcases all our vibrant and exciting festivals including religious, cultural and arts, happening throughout the year. Together with Bon Odori and Yosakoi, PAM 2017 has become one of the must go Japanese festival in Penang.

Together with the support of Penang State Government, SOZO and Penang Global Tourism proudly present you the ultimate fun and excitement of Japanese Pop Culture in Anime and Cosplay. PAM 2017 is the only festival of it kind in Malaysia.

This year PAM 2017 is held at the new indoor venue inside Setia SPICE Convention Center, Level 2, Arena. This multi-purpose indoor arena with 33,000 square ft of uninterrupted and pillarless space is now hosting the biggest indoor Anisong Dance Party!
