I stand before you with immense joy and pride as we come together to mark the 90th Anniversary of The Convent Ex-Pupils Association (CEPA). The origins of CEPA in 1933 mark a point of intersection with the broader trajectory of Penang's development. As we acknowledge the association's evolution from the Convent Old Girls' Association to CEPA, we recognize a narrative that mirrors the transformative journey of our state.
In these 90 years, as CEPA has grown, so has Penang – transforming into a dynamic hub of progress, innovation, and inclusivity.
