Good evening to you all,
It is truly an honor to be here today at the 'Kasih Ramadan' Majlis Berbuka Puasa CSR event. I truly commend Mr. Suffian Phoong, The General Manager, and the Hompton Hotel Management Team for their efforts and commitment in making this event a success particularly, during the first day of Ramadan. In this respect, I would also like to take this opportunity to extend my warmest welcome to the brilliant and bold children, parents, and representatives from Friend of Childhood Cancer Northern (FOCCAN), George Town and Ma'had Tahfiz Al-Quran Kasyfu Al-Ulum.
As we convene this evening, we are reminded of the cruciality of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its impact it possesses in a community. Ramadan is a month that signifies reflection, generosity, and kindness, embodying our shared values and aspirations. Therefore, let us embrace the spirit of giving and compassion that defines this sacred month, extending our hands in friendship and support to enrich each other's lives.
I am truly inspired by the resilience of the children and parents from FOCCAN, as well as the dedication of the young learners from Tahfiz. FOCCAN and Tahfiz have played a pivotal role in undertaking efforts to reflect the empathy and social responsibility necessary for building a thriving and inclusive society. Hence, I will always be grateful for your unwavering dedication and support towards nurturing our future generation.
With that, let us take this opportunity to remember the importance of collaboration, cooperation, and mutual support. Together, we have the power to achieve remarkable things and make a lasting impact on the lives of those around us.
